Skin Benefits Of Hibiscus Petals
The benefits to our skin are equally impressive, since Hibiscus is referred to as "Nature's Botox", due to its firming and tightening compounds. There is an enzyme that affects the youthfulness of our skin in a very negative way. It is a bacteria that breaks down the elastic fibers and collagen proteins of our skin. Hibiscus, being an anti-bacterial agent, inhibits the enzyme Elastase, responsible for breaking down our skin's natural elastin. Organic Hibiscus Tea not only naturally contains high levels of Vitamin C, but also Minerals, Polysaccharides, Glycosides and boasts a natural level of 15%-30% of Malic, Tartaric and Citric Acids - beneficial Alpha Hydroxy Acids for anti-aging, gentle exfoliation, cell turnover and correcting UV damage. Additionally, Hibiscus contains mucilage, a syrup like natural lubricant, that enhances and retains moisture within our skin for a healthy glow and pure radiance.
