Organic Physical Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 Non-nano Zinc Oxide

Are you searching for an Physical Mineral Sunscreen formulated with Non-nano Zinc Oxide, conditioning Fair Trade Organic Tropical Oils and Ivory Shea Nut Butter with antioxidants for protection against sunburns and the aging effects of the sun? Millions of Americans have concerns about putting chemical sunscreen on their kids and themselves to protect against the sun's harmful rays. In the Tropics, Ivory Shea Nut Butter, Hawaiian Kukui Nut, Macadamia Nut, Brazilian Buriti Fruit, Avocado and Coconut Oils are used to provide a range of 2-8 SPF against a sunburn and for a youthful glow. At Sweet Life Spa we feel it is time to get back to the goodness of ingredients found in nature for skin, oral, hair and sun care.

Reportedly, 65% of the products that go on our skin are absorbed through our pores and directly into our blood stream. This is one of the reasons we crafted our "Sweet Sun" Screen SPF 30+ in light and fresh Tropical 100% USDA Certified Organic Fragrances. The "+" in our description refers to the exquisite oils listed above that may have additional sun protection qualities. There is uncertain testing behind the UV protection of these oils, but one thing is clear  - they are rich in skin loving antioxidants!  Organic Red Raspberry Seed Oil is rich in polyphenols to assist cell turnover from UV damage making it anti-aging powerhouse! With that being said, we add USA Non-nano Uncoated Zinc Oxide to our formula at a generous 17% ratio. Larger Zinc Oxide particles safely sit on top of your skin reflecting UVA 1 & 2 and UVB rays without soaking into your pores. Our bodies require zinc to address wounds while aiding enzymes that stimulate the production of collagen. Zinc Oxide is often used in the cosmetics industry to calm redness, soothe irritation, decrease inflammation and discourage breakouts, by regulating oil gland production, making it beneficial for most skin types.

"Sweet Sun" Screen is ocean safe for marine life and coral reef formations. The first time I used a Mineral Sunscreen was in Cancun 10 years ago. I have extremely fair skin that burns in 15 minutes without shade. The sunscreen I brought was not allowed in the ocean while snorkling due to the warnings about chemicals bleaching the coral reef. In the gift shop, they sold a Mineral Sun Block which I only had time to apply once. I was in the sun for 2 hours and never even got pink...that's a first! I burn with 100 SPF conventional sunscreen on, which to me, smells and feels awful. When I got back to the states, I searched for that sun block and it was not available online or in stores.I am proud to offer a similar product.

There no longer is a need for irritating chemicals to avoid a sunburn. "Sweet Sun" Screen does not contain controversial Oxybenzone, Avobenzone, Homosalate or Retinol Palmitate, parabens, phthalates, synthetic dyes or fragrances, PABA, soy, sulfates, mineral oil, petrochemicals or silicones. 2. Wear clothing to cover skin exposed to the sun such as long-sleeve shirts, pants, sunglasses, and broad-brimmed hats.
  3. Use broad spectrum sunscreens with SPF values of 15 or higher regularly and as directed.
  4. Reapply sunscreen at least every two hours, and more often if you're sweating or jumping in and out of the water.
